About The Position

Emerson is seeking a Business Development Leader for Data Centers to provide leadership and support to assigned account teams within the Process Systems & Solutions business group. This high-visibility role involves regular interaction with top executives, driving results for customers and Emerson. The position is located in Round Rock, TX, Houston, TX, St. Louis, MO, or Blue Bell, PA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Field
  • Minimum 4 years of sales related experience

  • Knowledge of and experience with the Process Automation industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%

  • DeltaV DCS knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation with the Data Center industry
  • Build a sales plan for systems and software industry growth
  • Lead successful sales activities with pursuits and accounts
  • Lead quarterly industry business reviews
  • Attend and represent PSS at industry events and tradeshows
  • Engage key stakeholders, including internal and external executives as required
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding bookings target for industry vertical
  • Capture QBRs and success stories
  • Develop key relationships with channel partners and customers
  • Drive and facilitate channel partner success through corporate resource utilization and engagement
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and understand key industry messaging
  • Support Process Systems & Solutions Business Processes
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining key pursuit activities per financial calendar for all assigned account pursuits
  • Responsible for forecasting key projects and account bookings & activities
  • Support and manage key business processes such as Delegation of Authority and Opportunity Reviews for pursuits in industry vertical
