About The Position

The Business Development Lead will identify, develop, and advance strategic opportunities across government, defence, energy, and aerospace markets. You will help shape partnerships, proposals, and customer engagement for CSMC’s advanced technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic programs
  • Experience in nuclear, defence, aerospace, energy, or government‑facing industries
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and proposal skills
  • Current Legal Authorization to Work in Canada
  • Able to maintain valid work authorization for the duration of employment
  • Able to obtain and maintain Reliability Status or higher
  • Able to provide at least 5 years of continuous, verifiable background history
  • Willing to undergo identity, employment, education, and criminal background checks
  • Eligible to undergo a Foreign Influence and Foreign Affiliation Risk Assessment
  • Eligible to access Controlled Goods under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
  • Eligible to access export‑controlled technical data under Canadian law
  • Willing to undergo additional screening if required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with federal funding programs or procurement
  • Technical familiarity with nuclear, advanced energy or aerospace systems
