About The Position

Prematch is seeking a Business Development Intern to help build its football teamwear market in France from scratch. The intern will work remotely from France, with regular on-site phases at the company’s Cologne office and travel costs covered, collaborating closely with the founders and the Cologne-based team. The internship lasts 6–12 months and is intended for someone recently graduated or currently studying, ideally in business or a related field, who knows French amateur football and is comfortable working independently in a startup environment. The role involves researching the French amateur football market, engaging clubs, retailers, and partners, testing Prematch’s offer, turning findings into recommendations, helping launch initial club pilots, and documenting successful approaches in a France playbook. Additional work includes localising materials into French, conducting ad-hoc research and analysis for the founders, and representing Prematch at local football events. This is not a structured internship with predefined tasks; the intern will have substantial autonomy in helping establish the market. The position is a paid internship. Prematch provides work tools and devices, 27 vacation days per year, remote work from France with regular Cologne visits, flexibility to work temporarily from outside the usual location, access to offices in Cologne, Berlin, and London, team events, and four-day company-wide offsites. Special arrangements are available for parents.
