About The Position

Universal Parking is seeking a motivated and outgoing Business Development Intern to support our efforts in the New Orleans market this summer. This is a paid internship with a flexible 30-40 per week schedule. The intern will work directly with our Business Development team to help identify new opportunities, research prospective clients and properties, support proposal development, and assist in relationship outreach efforts throughout the New Orleans market. This internship is ideal for a student interested in: -Commercial Real Estate -Business Development & Sales -Property Management -Marketing & Research -Relationship Building -Entrepreneurship

Requirements

  • Current college student or recent graduate preferred
  • Interest in commercial real estate, business development, sales, or marketing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable researching and initiating professional outreach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Research commercial real estate developments, ownership groups, and management companies throughout the New Orleans area
  • Identify and organize prospective business leads and partnership opportunities
  • Assist the Business Development team with proposal opportunities and market research
  • Help maintain and organize prospect/contact databases
  • Support outreach efforts to property managers, developers, and decision-makers
  • Assist with preparing presentations, proposals, and client-facing materials
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to better understand the industry and client experience
