About The Position

Harvest Midstream Company offers office internships to students based upon previous experience and current course work. Business Development Interns will be located in our corporate office in Houston. The Business Intern position will support overall Business and Commercial Development within Harvest Midstream Louisiana, New Mexico and South Texas asset teams. The primary responsibility will be to support asset team profitability through revenue generation and midstream project development. Duties will include project economic analysis, oil and natural gas energy fundamentals research & analysis, asset financial analysis, developing power point presentations and presenting to management, customer interaction, contract negotiation and drafting, oil and gas product marketing and field level operational project support. Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be a Senior level student.
  • Applicant must have full summer available.
  • Intern should have an interest in pursuing a career in the oil & gas industry.
  • 3.0 or higher GPA.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall Business and Commercial Development within Harvest Midstream Louisiana, New Mexico and South Texas asset teams.
  • Support asset team profitability through revenue generation and midstream project development.
  • Conduct project economic analysis.
  • Perform oil and natural gas energy fundamentals research & analysis.
  • Conduct asset financial analysis.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and present to management.
  • Engage in customer interaction.
  • Assist with contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Support oil and gas product marketing.
  • Provide field level operational project support.
