About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in government contracting, business development strategies, and client relationship management. The intern will work closely with the Business Development team to support efforts in identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with government contracting processes is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential government contracting opportunities, including RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, including gathering required documentation, formatting, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Support outreach efforts to current and prospective clients, including scheduling meetings, drafting communications, and maintaining CRM systems.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide actionable insights for business development strategies.
  • Assist with maintaining business development records, tracking deadlines, and organizing team meetings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and project management, to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
