About The Position

Infosys is seeking talented Business Development Executives (BDEs) to help shape the future of industries across their US hubs. This role involves inspiring businesses to unlock their potential with cutting-edge technology, particularly AI, leveraging Infosys Topaz, a generative and agentic AI platform. The BDE will play a pivotal role in helping businesses embrace the future of technology, including autonomous vehicles, big data, cybersecurity, and AI transformation.

Requirements

  • MBA degree from a reputed university.
  • 2+ years of work experience.
  • MBA students graduating between 2025-PRESENT are eligible to apply.
  • Aptitude and attitude to rapidly learn and abstract ideas, industries, technologies, and solutions.
  • Empathetic and strategic mindset with a broad-based understanding of industry and business.
  • Experience and/or desire to work in a global delivery environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly regarding the business processes of the client, Infosys' processes, and service lines.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to display initiative and work in an unstructured environment.
  • Comfortable and excited to be in a customer-facing role.
  • Basics of financial drivers for an IT organization.
  • Drafting business cases for client pitches.
  • Global understanding of economy to make sane judgments in negotiations.
  • No necessity of background of a student in this business or IT field.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive analysis to develop a unified market view, collaborating with pre-sales teams for sector-specific insights.
  • Identify prospects and initiate communication with C-level executives to introduce Infosys solutions.
  • Ensure client or prospect involvement in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the customer on behalf of Infosys and internally align technical and supporting function stakeholders to drive deals to completion.
  • Create proposals and Statements of Work (SoWs), coordinating with delivery units, procurement, and legal.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to determine win prices and conduct competitor analysis to demonstrate business value and maintain price premium.
  • Create a 'customer map' of named customers with potential objections and recommend actions.
  • Provide supporting analyses needed during negotiation to articulate business value and win deals at the right price premium.
  • Provide a business-led view on items of contract negotiations.
  • Manage allocated accounts, mapping business areas for growth in collaboration with Infosys Service Delivery Units.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to secure meetings and forge relationships with new customer stakeholders at the C/C-1 level.
  • Mine the account via new deals.
  • Act as the single point of contact for customer escalations and grievances.
  • Maintain regular contact with customer stakeholders to address pain points and present Infosys’ value propositions.
  • Participate in executive reviews, ensure strategic positioning in presentations, and identify key stakeholders for Customer Satisfaction to minimize revenue leakage and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Build positive client relationships to serve as references for prospects.
  • Oversee revenue receipt and recognition from services delivered to the client.
  • Align with client stakeholders and review account operations periodically to ensure smooth operations.
  • Consult with service delivery units to ensure the right personnel are staffed throughout the engagement for smooth delivery.
