About The Position

The Business Development Director develops and nurtures the client base through the implementation of sales and business strategies while serving as a key leader within the office, ensuring a strong pipeline of work to support continued growth.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years related experience or 10+ years professional experience
  • Working knowledge of construction industry
  • Strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to make decisions under deadlines.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organization, motivation, and integrity.

  • Experience leading pursuits, understanding delivery methods, involvement in industry organizations, network of clients (Public and private within the greater Austin area)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategies to secure new opportunities and prioritize leads.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supports business planning and market analysis.
  • Leads pursuit strategy and proposal efforts.
  • Monitor and track opportunities in CRM system.
  • Prepares and coaches teams for presentations.
  • Represents company at industry events.
  • Strengthens customer and community relationships.
  • Promotes culture and staff development.
  • Captures feedback and tracks performance.
