About The Position

The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) is a salaried, exempt professional role designed to increase producer effectiveness and accelerate revenue growth by providing advanced sales enablement support. Embedded within regional sales teams, the BDC serves as a subject-matter expert on sales tools, processes, and enablement initiatives. This role exercises independent judgment, applies specialized knowledge, and partners closely with sales leadership to improve technology adoption, sales execution, and producer productivity. Business Development Coordinators relieve producers of administrative and technical burdens, allowing producers to focus on high-value client and prospect engagement. The role requires discretion, analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to prioritize work based on business impact rather than prescribed task lists or hours.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with CRM and sales enablement platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with account-based selling, pipeline management, and long sales cycles.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or regional sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a regional expert and primary point of contact for sales enablement tools, platforms, and processes (e.g., CRM, prospecting tools, digital sales rooms, enablement platforms).
  • Provide hands-on support to producers, including executing complex or time-sensitive tasks within sales tools on their behalf when appropriate.
  • Deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to producers to improve adoption, proficiency, and effective use of sales technology.
  • Apply judgment to determine the most effective enablement approach based on producer needs, opportunity stage, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of sales tools by identifying barriers, developing targeted solutions, and reinforcing best practices.
  • Analyze usage data and producer behavior to recommend improvements to workflows, training, or enablement strategies.
  • Act as a feedback conduit between regional sales teams and central enablement, operations, and technology partners.
  • Partner with regional and national sales leadership to identify enablement gaps, productivity opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
  • Support strategic sales initiatives (e.g., account planning, pipeline development, RFP preparation, onboarding programs) through enablement expertise and execution.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key enablement metrics to demonstrate impact on productivity, engagement, and revenue outcomes.
  • Prioritize work independently based on business needs, producer impact, and strategic objectives rather than defined schedules or task counts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing, operations, and national enablement teams to ensure alignment and scalability.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive sales data, producer performance insights, and strategic initiatives.
