Morning Brew is seeking a driven, intellectually curious Business Development Associate to join our Financial Brand Partnerships (Sales) team. You will work alongside our most senior sellers to go deeper within key accounts, unlock net-new business with untapped financial brands, and develop the skills to own your own pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Genuine curiosity about financial services and media/marketing trends
  • Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Interest in building a long-term career in sales

Responsibilities

  • Account Research & Mapping: Build org charts for priority financial brands, identify decision-makers, surface insights that inform strategy
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with AEs on deal progression; prepare briefing materials, call notes, and follow-up assets
  • Training & Development: Shadow calls, gradually take on discovery conversations, and progress toward owning your own pipeline
  • Strategic Outreach: Execute personalized outbound campaigns via email and LinkedIn; develop messaging tailored to financial services audiences
