About The Position

Accountable is an online peer recovery provider that has supported over 10,000 people through substance use recovery since 2020. The company operates in all 50 states and is in network with national health plans. Founded by individuals in recovery, Accountable's program centers on weekly sessions with a peer coach, who has lived recovery experience, and allows clients to message their care team between sessions. The platform includes verified at-home toxicology (Bluetooth-connected breathalyzers and guided saliva tests) to document progress, and care coordination to keep treatment programs and referring clinicians informed. Family support is also integrated into the program. For referring programs and clinicians, a portal facilitates easy handoffs, and a recovery dashboard provides real-time updates on toxicology results and engagement. The platform is HIPAA-compliant. This role is responsible for driving referral growth in Washington state. The specific title of Associate or Manager will be determined by the candidate's experience and demonstrated ability to build referral networks. The core responsibilities and mission of the role remain consistent across levels, with scope and compensation adjusted based on experience. The ideal candidate will live in Washington, possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be comfortable working extensively in the field. A strong understanding of the behavioral health and treatment industry language (detox, residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient, MAT, sober living) and how recovery support fits within these frameworks is essential. The candidate must also understand payment models for care, including private pay and insurance coverage, and be disciplined about CRM usage for same-day logging of activities and market intelligence. Independence, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to the overall performance of the outreach team are also key attributes.
