About The Position

The Business Development Analyst will support our Business Development and Strategic Partnerships team. This role will assist in identifying, developing, and managing partnerships across the mortgage, consumer finance, financial technology, and real estate sectors. The Business Development Analyst will utilize foundational industry knowledge and assist in driving growth through teamwork and relationship building.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a related field, ideally within financial services or financial technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to partnership or deal execution.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Motivated to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective and professional relationships across the organization and with customers.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style.
  • High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and learn new systems and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem-solving abilities; solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment.
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of strategic partnership initiatives in line with Newrez’s commercial and corporate strategy.
  • Assist in researching and evaluating potential partnership and revenue opportunities.
  • Help prioritize partnership opportunities based on potential business impact.
  • Maintain communication with external stakeholders, including industry partners and thought leaders, under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Legal to help ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Represent Newrez at select industry forums, conferences, and partner meetings, as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the design and support of partnership processes, including onboarding, reporting, and account management to help ensure partner satisfaction and success.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
