About The Position

Healthie is seeking a Business Development Account Executive to be the outbound engine for their enterprise sales. This role will focus on generating pipeline across core ICP segments, including digital health startups and emerging care delivery organizations in behavioral health, women's health, nutrition, GLP-1/metabolic care, and more. The BD AE will identify, engage, and qualify prospective enterprise customers, and collaborate closely with Senior Account Executives (SAEs) for seamless handoffs. This position involves daily collaboration with the SAE team, RevOps, and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and messaging. Occasionally, the role may involve closing Group or Group+ API opportunities if they originate from the AE's outreach and capacity allows. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated by prospecting, relationship building, and thrive in a fast-paced healthtech environment, with the opportunity to influence how a category-defining platform reaches the market. A passion for improving healthcare delivery, sharp instincts, and clear communication are essential.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in outbound sales or business development, ideally within healthtech, digital health, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Excel at multi-channel prospecting—cold outreach, email sequencing, LinkedIn, and phone.
  • Strong grasp of the digital health landscape and ability to credibly speak to the challenges facing operators building virtual-first care programs.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with SAEs, RevOps, and Marketing to align on ICP, messaging, and pipeline quality standards.
  • Confident engaging senior decision-makers—VP Sales, COO, VPs of Success, Product and RevOps—and can earn trust quickly in early conversations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, leading with empathy and influence.
  • Trusted team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound pipeline generation across Healthie's enterprise ICP, with a focus on digital health organizations in behavioral health, women's health, nutrition, and GLP-1/metabolic care.
  • Conduct high-volume, high-quality outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage prospects and generate qualified meetings for the SAE team.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Healthie's platform, competitive positioning, and ICP pain points to drive relevant, resonant outreach.
  • Build and maintain organized pipeline hygiene in Apollo/Salesforce, logging all activity and keeping deal stages current.
  • Proactively participate in the handoff process—joining initial discovery calls with SAEs to ensure a warm, informed transition before moving off the deal.
  • Create a repeatable outreach process, contributing to playbooks, sequence improvements, and ICP learnings that elevate the broader BD team.
