About The Position

IXON is seeking an ambitious and driven Business Developer to expand its presence in the Swedish market, specifically focusing on the Västerås–Eskilstuna (Mälardalen) region. The company provides an end-to-end solution for connecting, monitoring, and controlling machines through its IIoT cloud platform and connectivity hardware, aiming to make production more efficient with minimal environmental impact. This role offers the autonomy to shape and expand a new territory, working collaboratively with other Swedish Business Developers and international teams.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a B2B commercial or business development role.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, combined with a practical, hands-on mentality.
  • Based in Sweden, specifically in or around the Västerås–Eskilstuna (Mälardalen) region.
  • Willing to travel within your region by car to meet prospects.

Nice To Haves

  • Affinity with industrial automation, cloud solutions, or mechanical engineering is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identifying and developing new business opportunities with Swedish machine builders.
  • Executing the entire sales process, from initial prospecting and contact to successfully closing deals.
  • Building a strong and reliable network of prospects and industry connections.
  • Working closely with Marketing, Sales Support, and Solution Engineers to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Providing market insights and feedback to continuously improve the go-to-market strategy in Sweden.
