About The Position
smartmicro, a German specialist in radar and radar-camera hybrid sensor technology since 1997, has been successfully developing its business in the Traffic Management market for the past 17 years. They offer advanced 4D object tracking technology for various applications including intersection monitoring (stop bar and advance detection), highway traffic management (counting and classification), and enforcement (speed and red light). smartmicro provides complete traffic solutions directly to end customers and also supplies sensors for OEM integration. Recognized as a technology leader and well-known supplier for smart cities in the expanding ITS sector, smartmicro is looking for a qualified individual to further expand its presence in the USA. This role involves promoting products and solutions to end customers in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, requiring the candidate to be located within this specified area.
Requirements
- Experience in Sales for the Traffic/ITS Industry
- Ability to develop new markets/opportunities in intersection and highway
- Organized, communicative and self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Radar or any other Detection Technology is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain existing and establish new business relationships with cities, municipalities and other end users
- Provide sales training and presentations to end users / contractors
- Execution of our sales and marketing strategies
- Perform operative sales activities
