As a Business Development Representative II (BDR II), you will play a critical role in accelerating partner growth and vendor success through relationship-building, enablement, and pipeline execution. You will work closely with internal sales teams, vendors, and partners to drive initiatives that generate revenue, deepen relationships, and expand partner capabilities across the portfolio. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related role
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer engagement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and negotiate professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Comfort with outbound calling, customer engagement, and extended periods of phone or computer use

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with partners and customers by serving as a trusted point of contact for consultations, support, and guidance.
  • Drive vendor initiatives through outbound calls, lead follow‑up, and pipeline development, moving opportunities through the sales cycle and closing deals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on assigned vendor products, programs, and promotions, enabling internal sales teams and partners to succeed.
  • Support partner enablement efforts by delivering vendor training, product education, and best‑practice guidance.
  • Profile partner accounts, identify growth opportunities, and expand relationships beyond the primary contact to increase influence and impact.
  • Track, manage, and report on vendor pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow‑up, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and vendor teams to execute strategic initiatives and resolve challenges.
  • Configure, price, and quote solutions, providing technical guidance and alternative product recommendations when needed.
  • Participate in customer account planning, pipeline reviews, and ongoing performance discussions.
  • Analyze performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Stay current with industry developments and participate in vendor and industry training as needed.
