About The Position

The Business Data & Strategy Analyst integrates and supports tools and systems to meet operational and business objectives, including helping develop tools that validate business concepts and drive efficiencies. The role works with the Business Data & Strategy team and Business Change Analysts to ensure tools and reporting address business needs, and supports strategic plans for analytics and reporting. The position reports directly to the Business Data & Strategy Lead. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and upon meeting performance goals.

The position is based at 1100 W Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL 60608. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The base pay range is $60,000–$78,000, with eligibility for a bonus and/or commission.

Requirements

• Possess or be working toward a degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, or a related Business field, or have 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Willingness to travel.
• Demonstrate the company’s core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with programming languages such as VBA, SQL, R, Python, and/or Java.
• Previous experience with data visualization, analytical software, or an Oracle database, such as Tableau, Power BI, R, or PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of strategic business plans for analytics and reporting needs.
• Compile, structure, and analyze data to support business needs.
• Implement and support various projects.
• Meet deadlines while working on multiple projects.
• Create and maintain queries in a database.
• Create technical documentation for projects.
• Ensure data security and integrity.
