About The Position

Christian Brothers Services is seeking a full-time Business Data Analyst for its Enterprise Operations division. This role involves transforming complex business needs and data into meaningful analysis, actionable insights, and reliable reporting across healthcare, retirement, risk, and consulting services. The analyst will collaborate with business teams, vendors, and IT to enhance data quality, document and strengthen business processes, and manage cross-functional initiatives from discovery to implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in analytics, information systems, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
Five or more years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar data-driven role.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau, SAP BI, Power BI, and Excel, including macros.
Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze problems, improve processes, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
Experience with data validation, reconciliation, data quality analysis, and process documentation.
Experience with Visio and experience in regulated or complex service environments preferred.
Strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data quality.
Ability to translate complex data and business needs into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Strong facilitation, organization, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep work moving forward.
Effective written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support operational and strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses using tools such as Tableau, SAP BI, Power BI, and Excel, including macros.
Present findings through clear insights, recommendations, and narratives tailored to business and leadership audiences.
Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Assess file layouts, data standards, and source-to-target relationships to ensure information is accurate, complete, and usable.
Conduct trend analysis, measure outcomes, and monitor performance to support informed decision-making.
Document, analyze, and improve business processes, workflows, and data flows across systems, teams, and vendors.
Create process maps and supporting documentation using tools such as Visio to clarify requirements and identify gaps.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions to define needs, align on solutions, and support effective implementation.
Partner with business teams, vendors, and IT to investigate issues, clarify requirements, and improve data exchange and reporting processes.
Coordinate cross-functional follow-up, maintain clear documentation, and keep initiatives organized and moving toward resolution.
Apply sound business judgment to balance technical findings with operational priorities and stakeholder needs.
Use analytics automation, AI-assisted tools, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, insight generation, and data quality.
Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and modernize analytics workflows.
Contribute to analytics standards, governance, and best practices across Enterprise Operations.
