We are searching for the best talent for Business Continuity System Administrator in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Role Purpose The Business Continuity System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and sustainment of the enterprise Business Continuity Management (BCM) technology platform (Fusion Risk Management). The role supports the effective execution of the BCM lifecycle by ensuring system integrity, data quality, user enablement, and alignment with approved BCM policy, standards, and governance expectations. The position provides a critical enabling capability for the deployment, operation, and sustainment of the enterprise BCM program, including support for Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Risk Assessments (RAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Crisis Management Plans (CMPs), and related BCM artifacts. Role Boundaries This role is responsible for owning and administering the Fusion system. It does not approve Business Impact Analyses, Business Continuity Plans, or Crisis Management Plans, and does not execute recovery strategies. These responsibilities are assigned to BCP Owners, Coordinators, Process Owners, and Approvers. The role is a project related role, not a permanent role so is duration based.

Requirements

  • Experience with Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, or Operational Resilience disciplines.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Fusion Risk Management System including system administration experience.
  • Strong competence of the J&J operating model and Business Continuity Management concepts and practices
  • Understanding of J&J digital ecosystem to perform data profiling and integration.
  • Proficiency knowledge of English language and good verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage system configuration, data quality, and user access in a controlled, compliance‑driven environment.
  • Experience working with structured processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and partner engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (particularly Co‑Pilot and other AI tools).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions in a global environment.
  • Ability to support audits, governance, and regulatory requirements through system configuration and reporting
  • Experiencing querying data from internal systems and translating the results into useful analysis.
  • Solid project management skills and experience coordinating multi-functional teams required
  • Showing initiative in innovative ways to challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment
  • Strong organization & prioritization skills

Responsibilities

  • System Administration & Configuration Administer and maintain the enterprise BCM system (Fusion), including system configuration, lifecycle workflows, user access, and role management in alignment with approved BCM policy and standards.
  • Own and maintain system configuration supporting BIAs, RAs, BCPs, CMPs, and related BCM records and artifacts.
  • Ensure system availability, data integrity, and consistency across sites, functions, sectors, and supplier populations.
  • User Enablement & Operational Support Provide day‑to‑day system support to business users, including troubleshooting, access requests, and functional guidance.
  • Support training, onboarding, and awareness activities related to use of the Fusion platform as part of the BCM lifecycle.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for system‑related questions across sectors, functions, and regions.
  • Enable digitization and maintenance of BIAs, BCPs, and CMPs within Fusion Support governance, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance through system configuration and data availability
  • Data Quality, Compliance and Controls Monitor and enforce data quality standards, including completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of BCM records within the system.
  • Support compliance with BCM policy, standards, and governance requirements through system controls, reporting, and audit‑ready configurations.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing system evidence, reports, and traceability as required.
  • Change, Enhancement & Integration Support system enhancements, configuration changes, and releases in alignment with the approved BCM roadmap and governance processes.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise BCM Program Office, IT/Digital teams, and external vendors to support ongoing system sustainment and evolution.
  • Reporting & Insights Produce standard and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards to support BCM governance, oversight, and management reporting.
  • Enable visibility of enterprise risks, mitigations, plan status, testing activities, and compliance metrics through system reporting.
  • User Access, Roles & Security Manage user access and user management activities Assign and maintain Fusion user roles and licenses Apply standard security profiles and permission sets Provide system administrator capabilities to licensed users who require this functionality
