The Michigan Department of State (MDOS) is seeking qualified undergraduate and graduate interns for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond. The MDOS is the oldest and most public facing department with a mission to administer driver and vehicle laws and policies, provide consumer protection, and to oversee elections. The Business Compliance and Regulation Division is seeking an intern to focus on document review, assisting with compiling and constructing documents for thoroughness, and reviewing various regulatory and compliance cases for dealers, mechanics, repair facilities, driver testing businesses, and driver education businesses. The role involves analyzing and reviewing data within the Customer and Automotive Records System, assisting in conferences, tracking data, quality control, document scanning, and other assigned projects. This internship aims to develop competencies in building strategic working relationships, building trust, communication, contributing to team success, and planning and organizing.
