About The Position

As a member of the West Lincoln Memorial WLMH health care team, provides clerical and administrative support to patients, families and those providing service and/or care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of community college secretarial or office administration program or equivalent, or equivalent experience working in an administrative capacity.
  • Medical Terminology Certificate 1 and 2 or demonstrated knowledge equivalent to the Medical Terminology Certificate 1 and 2, which may be subject to testing.
  • Keyboarding of at least 40 w.p.m., which may be subject to testing.
  • Knowledge and skill in using computer and various Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated effective communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, public relations and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work accordingly.
  • Ability to deal with various hospital departments effectively and collaboratively.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous experience and advanced level skill in PCI and OE applications of Meditech.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with patients and families, with patience, courtesy and tact.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and assist others in the completion of assigned tasks when required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of HHS.
