About The Position

The Business Banking Underwriter II is responsible for underwriting Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and compliance with Bank lending policy. This position is available at any Huntington Corporate office location. Credits would typically include those with moderate complexity and customer exposure up to $2,500M. Utilizes single approval authority up to $2MM. Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower.

Requirements

Bachelors degree
3+years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources

Responsibilities

Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work.
Reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions.
Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job family
Performs other duties as assigned.
