About The Position

The bank client is seeking a Business Banker in the Lisle, Illinois area. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with commercial customers that generate loans, deposits, and fee income. The position is not remote and offers a salary of up to $90,000, plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 5 years of commercial lending experience.
Ability to cross-sell banking and other financial services products.
Extensive knowledge of standard commercial lending practices.
Ability to make decisions with little supervision.
Effective presentation skills.
High level of professionalism.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Banking experience and knowledge of bank systems and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term commercial customer relationships that generate loans, deposits, and fee income.
Negotiate commercial loan terms consistent with internal credit standards.
Obtain customer financial information and conduct preliminary analyses of customer needs and the bank’s ability to meet those needs.
Work with the Commercial Credit Department to create credit presentations.
Present customer financial information to relevant committees.
Cross-sell relevant bank products and services to commercial customers.
Effectively manage the loan portfolio.
