About The Position
CTG is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support a leading financial services organization. This strategic role serves as the bridge between business strategy and enterprise execution, helping define target-state business architectures, guide transformation initiatives, and align investments with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in business architecture, capability modeling, value stream mapping, operating model design, and enterprise transformation within large, complex organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business architecture, strategy, consulting, enterprise transformation, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience developing: Business capability maps, Value stream models, Operating models, Strategic roadmaps, Gap analyses and maturity assessments
- Strong understanding of: Business architecture frameworks and methodologies, Capability modeling and value stream mapping, Enterprise analysis and operating model design, Portfolio management and investment prioritization
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within large enterprise environments.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- Financial services or banking industry experience.
- Knowledge of Business Architecture Guild (BIZBOK®) practices.
- Familiarity with TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Certified Business Architect (CBA®) certification.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent Enterprise Architecture credential.
Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into capability, value stream, and initiative roadmaps.
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value streams, and operating models.
- Define current-state and future-state business architecture models.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend strategic investments.
- Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and business case development.
- Assess business processes, organizational structures, and systems for alignment and efficiency.
- Facilitate collaboration among executive leadership, product teams, architects, and delivery organizations.
- Establish business architecture governance, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology investments, and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with Enterprise, Solution, and Data Architects to ensure business intent is reflected in solution design.
