The Business Architect - Senior role involves analyzing government information pertinent to program design and business architecture. This includes consulting with government contacts, conducting research, discovery sessions, and workshops to prepare and present business and program model options. The role focuses on developing program and service definitions aligned with OPS Architectural standards and Target State Architecture (TSA), creating and maintaining business capabilities, and service integration models in line with corporate strategy. A key aspect is contributing to the business strategy and plans, and developing and maintaining business architecture artifacts as part of the OPS Enterprise Architecture framework. The role requires modeling business at enterprise, program, and business service levels, including program and service definitions, capability models, value stream maps, and architectural solutions. It also involves developing and documenting governance models, architectural governance and controls, and ensuring alignment across business, application, technology, and security domains. The Business Architect will lead and represent the team through OPS Architectural Governance Points (AGP) and contribute to business transformation plans by developing enterprise blueprints to align strategic objectives with tactical demands.
