We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Applications Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Business Applications Supervisor is responsible for maintaining, improving, and supporting business applications across the company, while providing guidance and leadership to the Business Applications team. This role blends hands-on technical work with team supervision, ensuring high standards of data integrity, user support, and process documentation. You will work closely with various departments, oversee ticket management, and help drive continuous improvement in business systems. It is crucial that our Business Applications Supervisor promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business applications, business analysis, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail; exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent documentation skills; experience creating reports and presentations
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Experience supervising or mentoring team members is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support end user tickets on new and existing business applications; oversee ticket resolution and quality
  • Provide training for new and existing users on all business applications; answer questions as needed
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide Business Applications team members; foster a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Setup and configuration of business applications; manage licensing and permissions
  • Oversee data entry, data hygiene, and maintenance in ERP, CRM, and other software
  • Create and review process documentation and instructional materials; ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing; ensure systems meet business requirements
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues
  • Work with IT staff to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
  • Support system upgrades, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage relationships with application vendors and developers for third-party support and customization
