About The Position

AIR Communities is seeking a Business Applications Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for developing subject matter expertise in business applications, configuring application administrative settings, and managing document mapping for automated document generation. The position also involves maintaining change control records, database configuration for property acquisitions and dispositions, ad-hoc query/report extraction, and managing security roles in coordination with IT. The manager will troubleshoot unique issues, oversee development and enhancement requests, and provide project management to ensure projects stay within budget and on time. This role requires significant inter-departmental interaction and the development of new processes that meet regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of directly related experience or equivalent amount of work experience in System Administration management.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop subject matter expertise in business applications.
  • Develop and configure application administrative settings in support of business-related requests.
  • Configure document mapping for automated document generation.
  • Maintain change control records and/or directories.
  • Database configuration and setup for property acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Adhoc query/report extraction.
  • Maintain security roles and coordinate with IT to implement roles to ensure compliance.
  • Trouble shoot and determine resolution where there is no historical pre-defined solution.
  • Oversee and manage development and enhancement requests with each system.
  • Work typically involves unique situations involving heavy inter-departmental interaction.
  • Developing and documenting new processes that are timely as well as meeting regulatory standards.
  • Provide project management for projects to ensure they are within budget and on time.
