About The Position

AIR Communities is one of the country's largest owners and operators of multifamily housing, managing high-quality properties in most major markets. This position is eligible to sit in Denver or Atlanta, GA. The corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support central administrative operations. The Business Applications Manager will develop subject matter expertise in business applications, configure application administrative settings, and maintain change control records. They will also be responsible for database configuration and setup for property acquisitions and dispositions, adhoc query/report extraction, and maintaining security roles in coordination with IT. This role involves troubleshooting unique situations, overseeing development and enhancement requests, and providing project management to ensure projects are within budget and on time. The position typically involves unique situations requiring heavy inter-departmental interaction and developing/documenting new processes that are timely and meet regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of directly related experience or equivalent amount of work experience in System Administration management.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop subject matter expertise in business applications.
  • Develop and configure application administrative settings in support of business-related requests.
  • Configure document mapping for automated document generation.
  • Maintain change control records and/or directories.
  • Database configuration and setup for property acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Adhoc query/report extraction.
  • Maintain security roles and coordinate with IT to implement roles to ensure compliance.
  • Trouble shoot and determine resolution where there is no historical pre-defined solution.
  • Oversee and manage development and enhancement requests with each system.
  • Provide project management for projects to ensure they are within budget and on time.
  • Developing and documenting new processes that are timely as well as meeting regulatory standards.
