The Business and Requirements Analyst, IT (Federal Clients) supports our clients with software release oversight and tracking, requirements analysis and development, product owner support, and process optimization. Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a business and requirements analyst
  • Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Due to Federal contract and/or regulatory requirements, this position is limited to U.S. citizens only.
  • This position does not offer employer sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • Currently holds or has the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
  • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
  • Critical Skills: Executive presence, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm.
  • Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Nice To Haves

  • Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Consulting associates apply strong analytical and technical skills to help implement business solutions.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to improve operations, solve problems, deliver strategic insights, and deliver solutions.
  • Direct support to product owner to manage, prepare, and support increment and sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives
  • Expertise in business and systems requirement gathering and documenting, process mapping, and workflow optimization
  • Demonstrated experience and interactions in Agile and SAFe methodologies, testing, and system deployment
  • Strong capabilities in Jira and Confluence management and workflows
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions
  • Excellent writing skills to document standard operating procedures, business processes, and support clear client communication
  • Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectations
  • Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
  • Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
