As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's Anti Money Laundering Organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA or one of other PNC Hub locations. Convert stakeholder project request documents into functional project specifications for data retrieval, data cleaning, automation, reporting, system enhancements, process improvements, or other initiatives Leverage Power BI, Python and SQL to retrieve and clean large data sets from relational databases – Ideal candidates have prior experience within the Hadoop environment Translate complex data sources into project deliverables including data visualizations, ad-hoc reports, large data set transformation/aggregations, and others Execute data quality testing and governance procedures, ensuring robust data quality within project deliverables Participate in project update sessions with internal stakeholders, presenting deliverables and collecting feedback, change requests, and/or future enhancements Ideal candidates bring prior experience or interest in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) analytics space. Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions. Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development. Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements. Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making. Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
  • Bachelors degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service)
  • Experience with Power BI, Python and SQL
  • Experience within the Hadoop environment
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities
