About The Position

The Business Analytics Analyst will be a part of the Analytics and Insights Group. This role is critical in enabling users to leverage data for key strategic decisions, supporting Operations and Business teams by owning Analytics support for assigned functional areas, and assisting the Analytics team in maintaining dashboards and reports. The selected candidate will focus on delivering insights through data analysis from JDE and non-JDE data sources, and manage various analytics and technology enhancement initiatives and projects across supported functional areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting or Computer and Information Science.
  • Proven strength and aptitude in working with data and numbers.
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
  • Strong business analysis skills.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with visualization & reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI a plus.
  • Prior experience with data mining programs like SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization, including understanding business user information needs, familiarity with data sources (JDE, COGNOS) and Amcor Applications (Sales Cloud, PlanView), and understanding of information and insight mechanisms like Tableau Dashboards, Power BI, Excel Reports, SQL.
  • Troubleshooting user-reported issues and supporting and leading user training.
  • Collaborating with team members to collect data and execute the company’s mission using Tableau/Power BI.
  • Driving interpretation, understanding, and adoption of analytic insights.
  • Discovery and innovation in data analysis and technology to provide timely and accurate information at various levels of business and functional areas.
  • Partnering and working closely with the IT Department team and vendors in the smooth functioning of the various analytic & tech applications.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organization.
  • Identifying development needs for streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.
