The Business Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: IT Strategy & Planning: Provide business and system analysis, develop functional specifications, resolve application issues, and support new software implementations. User Experience Analysis: Create project documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and support testing/reporting within an agile framework. Requirements Elicitation & Definition: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, develop technical, functional, and reporting requirements, and collaborate with developers and QA. Quality Assurance: Coordinate project tasks, support testing of new features, and act as liaison between IT and business teams. Project Analysis: Conduct analysis into project issues, manage shifting priorities, and clearly communicate risks and solutions. Tracking & Reporting: Maintain documentation including issue/risk logs, status reports, and assist in leading small project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years’ experience with systems, SDLC, and requirements gathering
  • Previous Business Analyst experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucid)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in agile frameworks (epic, feature, story creation)
  • Experience working with project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle

Nice To Haves

  • PMI-PBA, CBAP, or CAPM certification
  • Agile certifications (CSM or AAC)
  • Experience in the building or construction industry
