About The Position

Seeking a Business Analyst to support IT project delivery within the USCP Office of Information Systems (OIS), Information Resource Management Division (IRMD). This role operates within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment, focusing on requirements gathering, backlog management, Agile/Waterfall ceremony support, and general project coordination. The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to document needs, refine user stories, track progress, and ensure effective communication across teams. This is a non-personal services contract position where the contractor employee reports to the Prime Contractor for HR and administrative matters, while receiving work direction from the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and OIS leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience providing administrative, coordination, or project support services
• Familiarity with project management concepts, workflows, and tools
• Experience supporting IT projects preferred
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate project documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience using collaboration and workflow tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams Planner, and Planner Premium
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Must pass USCP criminal history check, fingerprinting, and background investigation

Nice To Haves

• Business Analysis or Agile certification (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, CSPO)
• Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to perform basic data analysis and create process models or workflow diagrams
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering, user story development, acceptance criteria, and backlog refinement in tools such as JIRA and Teams Planner.
• Assist with sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Support UAT planning, documentation, and coordination activities.
• Maintain project documentation in Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or similar platforms.
• Prepare and update project materials including schedules, agendas, status reports, and action logs.
• Coordinate project meetings, capture meeting notes, and follow up on assigned actions.
• Support milestone tracking, timeline updates, and dependency monitoring under PM direction.
• Assist with PMO governance activities, including risk and issue tracking and routing documents for review/approval.
• Provide communication support by developing draft stakeholder updates and reporting inputs.
• Perform general PMO support as needed, such as data entry, project record maintenance, and logistics coordination.

Benefits

• Normal business hours, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays
• On-site minimum 2 days/week; 3 days telework after two-month full on-site acclimation period.
• USCP may increase on-site requirements based on situational awareness.
• May be required to work during certain special events (e.g., Presidential Inauguration, State of the Union) at the same labor rates
