Business Analyst
About The Position
Nightwing is seeking a Business Analyst to support a critical customer mission involving onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks. The Business Analyst will facilitate use case identification, requirements gathering, and stakeholder coordination for technology integration initiatives. This role ensures technology insertions align with mission goals, operational priorities, and measurable outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations and communication. Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers’ most demanding challenges. Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret; TS/SCI preferred
- Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or requirements analyst
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Experience with use case development and user story creation
- Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with project coordination and tracking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs
- Background in technology assessment or capability evaluation
- Knowledge of cybersecurity operations and mission environments
- Experience with agile requirements management
- Familiarity with cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations
- Experience developing metrics and performance measurement frameworks
- Understanding of federal governance and decision-making processes

Responsibilities
- Lead use case identification and prioritization activities with mission stakeholders
- Gather and document requirements for technology integration pilots
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and coordination meetings
- Translate mission pain points into technology capability requirements
- Develop business cases and value propositions for technology insertions
- Define measurable objectives and success criteria for pilot initiatives
- Coordinate between technical teams and operational stakeholders
- Document operational workflows and identify friction points for automation
- Support governance review processes with business impact analysis
- Develop metrics frameworks for measuring pilot and production outcomes
- Create stakeholder communications and status reports
- Manage requirements traceability throughout integration lifecycle
- Support leadership alignment activities with briefings and documentation
- Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement processes
- Ensure pilot scope discipline and clear exit/transition decisions
