About The Position

Our client is filling this contract position exclusively through approved staffing partners, so this opportunity is not available by applying directly with the client. If you're interested, we'd be happy to represent you throughout the hiring process. This is a temporary project estimated to last 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Requirements

Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required)
Experience with business process analysis and requirements documentation, including independent facilitation with executives and subject matter experts (5+ years)
Experience with process mapping/modeling tools such as MS Visio
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Teams for collaboration and document management
Experience with data migration practices, testing and quality assurance tools/techniques, and change and release management
Experience with translating business requirements into technical specifications, functional documentation, context diagrams, and technical overviews
Experience with business case development, as-is/to-be analysis, scope definition, data analysis, and performance metrics reporting
Experience with system analysis and design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques
Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and software development practices
Experience with State of Florida IT standards, methodologies, and governance practices, including Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5, F.A.C., and PMBOK principles

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI
Experience with Azure DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs
Certification in any of the following: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Owner (CSO), CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMP, or ITIL.

Responsibilities

Research and analyze business processes and their interrelationships, documenting and diagramming business and system workflows, process dependencies, and cross-functional interactions.
Develop technical specifications, use cases, business rules, and other analysis artifacts that translate business needs into actionable requirements.
Plan, prepare, and support testing activities, including regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, and performance testing.
Gather and document business strategy goals and objectives, translating them into clear, measurable requirements for application, infrastructure, and solution development.
Support business process redesign and modernization initiatives, including system remediation, migration planning, dependency identification, environment validation, and sunset activities.
Document current-state workflows, perform gap analyses, design future-state processes, and develop performance measures supporting operational efficiency.
Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and executive-ready materials summarizing value, risk, alignment, and feasibility for leadership and review teams.
