About The Position

Our client is filling this contract position exclusively through approved staffing partners, so this opportunity is not available by applying directly with the client. If you're interested, we'd be happy to represent you throughout the hiring process. This is a temporary project with an estimated duration of 12+ months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL. No telecommuting or remote work is allowed, and candidates must be able to relocate as required. This role involves supporting business or information technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL.
  • Experience with Information Technology (3+ years).
  • Experience with Business analysis, requirements gathering, business process analysis, or systems analysis (2+ years).
  • Experience with Eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements.
  • Experience with Developing business, functional, or technical documentation.
  • Experience with Working as a member of a project team supporting business or information technology initiatives.
  • Experience with Facilitating meetings, workshops, interviews, or discussions with business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in IT (7+ years).
  • Experience performing business process analysis, business process reengineering, process improvement, or organizational change initiatives (4+ years).
  • Experience performing project management (2+ years).
  • Experience working on large, complex enterprise-wide projects requiring coordination across multiple business units and stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating process improvement efforts involving multiple departments, agencies, or organizational units.
  • Experience documenting current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, validate, and manage business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions.
  • Conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, and root cause analysis to support process improvement and reengineering initiatives.
  • Develop business, functional, and technical documentation, including process flows, workflow diagrams, and business rules using tools such as Visio.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on project deliverables.
  • Serve as a member of a project team supporting business and IT initiatives, working under the direction of project managers or senior analysts.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and other project documentation to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate with functional groups within the Accounting organization to communicate requirements and support financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational analysis needs.
  • Lead business process analysis, reengineering, and process improvement initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholders.
  • Manage projects supporting large, complex enterprise-wide initiatives, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate process improvement efforts involving multiple departments, agencies, or organizational units, building consensus among stakeholders.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project execution.
  • Interact with functional groups within the Accounting organization to communicate and clarify customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, policy documents, and position description documentation.
