About The Position

The Business Analyst (BA) is a vital liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. In the Business Analyst role, you will interact with key business lines, understanding the roles and responsibilities of the business line, how the work is completed today and collaborating to re-imagine how the work can be completed in the future utilizing advanced technologies. Reporting to and working closely with the Sr. Director of Program Management, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with business SMEs to identify business challenges, develop and deploy new business processes, enhance existing processes and/or sunset processes that no longer support the business need, translating business requirements into IT solutions. These responsibilities include participating actively in the development life cycle including use case documentation, user acceptance testing, release management and end user training / support. This position is office based at our Jericho, NY office.

Requirements

  • 4+ years relevant business experience
  • 3+ years of experience with requirements analysis and authoring documentation
  • Must possess exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology or a related field, required.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solutions Consultant, required.
  • One (1) year of experience in generating business process current and future state documentation and workflows, required.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive presence, an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams and command of group dynamics to drive team and stakeholders to effective decisions or consensus.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort in analyzing and applying data to inform decisions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent business judgment and ability to adapt to changing context.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for changing how people experience healthcare.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence is a big plus.
  • Clinical experience in a Public Health or Behavioral Health setting and/or clinical degree or certification is a big plus.
