About The Position

The Business Analyst position works within the sales operations department to provide support to various IQSIGHT business functions. The position supports management teams by developing business intelligence and analytical tools with a purpose of improving visibility and understanding of key sales performance indicators. The position is also responsible for improving and/or automating internal processes, such as data gathering, processing, and reporting. The Business Analyst will be responsible for executing and/or maintaining operational tasks to support specific business processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area required. Degree in Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
Proactive team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help others.
Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
Applies high level of attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.
Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Access, and other database skills.
Experience with computer scripting languages.
Experience with database administration and management.
Experience with business intelligence & data visualization software.

Responsibilities

Run financial / business analysis models and sales reports.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and analyze underlying performance drivers.
Perform maintenance and updates to current automated reporting tools.
Support continuous improvement projects through automation and standardization.
Perform ad hoc sales analysis requests as needed.
Serve as a business partner to management teams and various business functions.
Perform recurring operational tasks to support specific business processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant corporate guidelines and procedures.
