About The Position
The services of 2 Business Analysts are required who meet the general qualification of Business Analyst, Level 2, Emerging Technology and the specifications outlined in this document. Various technology and innovation projects will directly impact daily operations to achieve agency missions, goals, and objectives. Support current projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria and analysis of existing requirements documentation. Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, ensure compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities. Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model. Deliverables include: Creating themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria according to agency standards. Converting existing use cases to actionable user stories/epics/acceptance criteria in Jira. Analyzing existing process documentation and documenting potential opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Supporting development and implementation of various initiatives.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as a senior level Business Analyst in the field or related technology field.
- 3 years of working knowledge of Agile project management methodology/practices.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of understanding and documentation of use cases.
- 1 year of process documentation mapping.
