We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Product Administration team within the Government Markets department, you will provide interdepartmental support overseeing routine deliverables independently for identifying and escalating issues appropriately. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively. Key responsibilities include: • Ensure regulatory compliance and timeliness of submissions to state (both MA and RI), federal, and other regulatory bodies – scope includes over 1,000 submissions per year • Serve as a subject matter expert for Regulatory Reporting processes and reporting inventory • Actively collaborate with Government Markets leaders to ensure they are properly informed of regulatory submission activities and timelines as well as content quality and strategic implications • Monitor, triage, escalate, and report on internal/external requests regarding sensitive member information and product materials • Act as liaison with Business units to help research, triage and facilitate resolution of escalated issues • Document internal Policies & Procedures and update/assemble member-facing materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in business development
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.

  • Create clear and concise documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
  • Assist in project management activities such as planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
