About The Position

This is a temporary, onsite Business Analyst position estimated to last 12 months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL. This is a non-negotiable requirement, and only candidates able to relocate as required should apply. The Business Analyst will understand business change needs, assess the business impact of those changes, capture, analyze, and document requirements, and support the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading requirements definition meetings, analyzing data, developing solutions, gathering and validating user requirements, creating various business analysis documentation, facilitating requirements negotiation, and creating/analyzing/validating detailed functional specifications.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL
• Experience with business analysis
• Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation
• Experience with creating Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, and use cases
• Experience with creating and validating detailed functional specifications
• Experience with translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience with data migration rules, business rules, and wireframes delivery
• Experience with business process redesign and documentation
• Experience with research into application development issues and products
• Experience preparing reports, correspondence, guidelines, and Power Point presentations
• Experience working on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader
• Experience facilitating requirements negotiation amongst multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Understand business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Lead requirements definitions meetings with customers
• Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate user requirements
• Create Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, use cases, and other business analysis documentation appropriate to the specifically assigned project needs
• Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
• Create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications
