About The Position
As a Business Analyst, you will support Medicaid and Integrated Eligibility Systems modernization initiatives by analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role focuses on delivering business value through process improvement, Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation of large-scale enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst on large and complex IT systems.
- 8+ years of experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting testing activities.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, business process analysis, and system implementation practices.
- 6+ years of experience working in Agile development environments and Agile delivery teams.
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating workshops, and communicating with executive-level leadership.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, TFS, Jira, RTC, or other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, SQL Server Management Studio, and data analysis activities.
- Strong skills in process mapping, business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and multitasking abilities with experience supporting government or large public-sector initiatives preferred.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and maintain business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, developers, project teams, and leadership.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and feasibility assessments to support business and technical decisions.
- Create and maintain design documents, requirements artifacts, and traceability matrices.
- Support Agile delivery activities, including backlog management, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.
- Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments for new initiatives and enhancements.
- Assist with testing activities, validation of requirements, and verification of business outcomes.
- Collaborate across business units to identify enterprise-wide opportunities and drive value realization.
- Support project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
