Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance software industry, with expertise in broker management systems and Insurtech.
• Knowledge of Canadian insurance trends in habitation and auto lines.
• Understanding of system integration, including API exchange between carrier systems; familiarity with CSIO standards is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation strategies, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to process improvement.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with CSIO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and client feedback to identify opportunities for software enhancements.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to optimize workflows, evaluate data patterns, and drive predictive analytics to improve business processes.
• Collaborate with clients, product managers, and development teams to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
• Work alongside Agile development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions that align with business objectives.
• Evaluate existing processes and recommend intelligent automation solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that delivered solutions meet defined business and functional requirements.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication across the development lifecycle.
