About The Position
CerebriOS is seeking a Business Analyst to support the development of their new mid-market analytics platform. This role involves working between business stakeholders, product, engineering, and data teams to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and ensure that the developed solutions effectively address business problems. The position is suitable for both junior candidates with strong analytical fundamentals and mid-level Business Analysts looking for increased ownership and cross-functional initiative involvement.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in business analysis, project coordination, operations, data analysis, or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with both business and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with B2B SaaS or software products
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes
- Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation
- Basic SQL, reporting, or data analysis experience
- Experience working with analytics, reporting, or business intelligence products
Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify business requirements from internal stakeholders and users
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and QA teams throughout the development process
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Document workflows, business rules, requirements, and process changes
- Support backlog refinement and help clarify requirements for development teams
- Analyze data and operational information to support business and product decisions
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and project discussions
- Help validate delivered functionality against agreed business requirements
- Track open questions, dependencies, and requirement changes throughout projects
