About The Position

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. This role involves delivering clear and actionable analysis to support leadership decisions and strategic priorities. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, automate data sources, and ensure tool consistency. They will collaborate with business units to identify improvements, assess tool usage, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy. A key aspect of this role is championing the standardization of reporting and workflow processes, including documentation and knowledge transfer. The Business Analyst will also support change management efforts by gathering requirements, facilitating user feedback, and training end users. Additionally, they will lead the design and delivery of dashboards and reports to support strategic planning and performance tracking, provide thought leadership on system optimization, and act as a point of contact for internal data questions.

Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically and grasp complex business challenges to deliver insightful analysis and develop effective tools.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of data integration concepts and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience in process mapping, workflow automation, and reporting design.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt quickly, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable analysis and recommendations in written and visual formats to support executive and frontline initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Operations to optimize and automate processes and data sources, ensuring tool consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with business units and leadership to identify improvement opportunities, assess tool usage, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Champion standardization of reporting and workflow processes, including documentation and knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Support change management efforts by gathering requirements, facilitating user feedback, and training end users on new tools or processes.
  • Lead the design and delivery of dashboards, reports, and tools that support strategic planning, performance tracking, and business decision-making across departments and regions.
  • Provide thought leadership and analysis that drives the decommissioning, optimization, or redesign of outdated or inefficient systems.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for internal data questions, escalating technical issues when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
