About The Position

REI Systems is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 4+ years of experience to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity with the chance to be a part of a very innovative team! In this role, you will analyze our customer's business needs, current business processes, perform gap analysis, analyze policies and business approaches, and identify opportunities for increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related position.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with an Agile implementation team writing user stories, grooming product backlog, planning out release planning.
  • Experience in the areas of requirements elicitation, definition, analysis, and preparing requirements documentation.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle of Agile IT projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects (if required) and good documentation skills.
  • Demonstrate an organized and detail-oriented mindset in all work activities.
  • Good analytical thinking skills and a team player.
  • Hands-on experience with TFS, JIRA, MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and management, information systems, computer science, or another related field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all communication needs during the requirements gathering phase.
  • Perform operating and business model analysis of the organization's policies and business approaches.
  • Define detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the client.
  • Identify efficiencies in work processes and instills a work smart vs. work hard attitude.
  • Prepare project documentation including project charter and meeting minutes.
  • Assist the development and testing teams during the execution phase with functional expertise as required.
  • Prepare and lead briefings.
  • Prepare and submit position and information papers in response to government requirements.
  • Interview clients to identify and discuss key business areas and processes that require improvement.
  • Identify automation opportunities, validation, ROI measurement, detailed documentation and implementation of automation initiatives focusing on process flow, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead process improvement and automation projects end-to-end for stakeholders across multiple business lines.
  • Engage SMEs, business partners and stakeholders to understand the current process, true business needs and requirements.
  • Generate detailed documentation to confirm As-Is process, and design and document future-state process improvement requirements.
  • Lead discovery sessions, design reviews, walk-throughs and training with stakeholders for each process under development.
  • Work within RPA team to design, develop, configure, test and launch process automations.
  • Evaluate operational benefits of automation and convey benefits and gains to business leaders.
  • Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed.
