About The Position

Our direct client has an opening for a Business Analyst. This position is up to 9 months, with the option of extension, and is in Columbia, SC. Corp to Corps are NOT allowed for this client. W2 Only. A writing sample may be included but as a separate attachment in that section with the resume.

Requirements

Ability to take complicated processes and document them in MS Visio or MS Word
Requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation
Analysis of processes and continuous improvement
Testing of systems and bug/defect tracking
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
5 years of related work experience
Ability to analyze and document, business and system processes using various methods and tools.

Responsibilities

Document processes and procedures for various areas of OTIS or for projects with state agencies.
Analyze processes and propose improvements in support of continuous improvement activities.
Conduct requirements gathering, elicitation, analysis and management for projects.
Conduct needs assessments or gap analyses for projects.
Support stakeholder management with project managers.
Lead testing and solution/product validation in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) when needed.
Plan for testing activities.
Lead testing activities.
Track and manage testing activities.
Other duties as assigned.
