About The Position

The Business Analyst will work with business and operational leaders to understand challenges and opportunities to articulate the detailed requirements necessary for the delivery of analytics and reporting solutions. In addition, this role focuses on improving decision-making, operational efficiency, and performance outcomes through well-defined analytics use cases, metrics, and insights. This position provides the flexibility of a hybrid or home-based work arrangement based on residence. The candidate must reside in one of the following states: South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, or Wisconsin. Candidates located in Sioux Falls will follow a 3 days in-office and 2 days remote schedule.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in as business analyst, analytics analyst or similar role is required.
Bachelor's degree in related field of study is required.
Strong SQL, reporting, or data analysis literacy is required.
Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Must have the ability to work collaborate with all levels across the organization.
Must have strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of insurance claims, underwriting and/or financial performance metrics is preferred.
Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry is preferred.
Experience in Workers’ Compensation insurance is a plus!
