About The Position

This role requires a Business Analyst with a 3-year base term and a potential 2-year extension. The analyst must be able to work onsite in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, Vacaville, and San Jose, CA. The position involves leading business analysis for large-scale IT projects, managing requirements traceability and gap analysis, and communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years leading business analysis for large-scale IT projects.
A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years managing requirements traceability and gap analysis.
A minimum of three (3) years within the past seven (7) years communicating technical information to non-technical audience.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience of Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and SAS MXG (Merrill’s Expanded Guide) used to extract transform and load existing service usage data from source/mainframe systems.
Knowledge and experience evaluating IBM’s Z/OS mainframe usage data for System Management Facility (SMF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Removable Media Manager (RMM) Tape, Direct Access Storage Devices (DASD) and Adaptable Database System (ADABAS).
Knowledge of IBM mainframe operating systems and components including Job Control Language (JCL) and Tivoli Usage and Accounting Manager (TUAM).
Knowledge and experience within data center services and related technologies, including networking, telecommunications, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
