About The Position

Join the Lockheed Martin One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) ERP team as an IT Business Analyst (ITBA) Associate. This position plays a key role as the integrator between IT and the Functional team in designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end processes. This role provides an exciting opportunity to learn/increase knowledge of the inner workings of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle EPM and how they interact with the rest of Lockheed Martin’s business processes and system landscape. Process and technical exposure in areas of Supply Chain, Finance, Property Management, Production Operations and more.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in one of the following fields, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution: Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration (with a technology concentration), Computer Science (with business administration electives), Industrial/Operations Engineering, Data Analytics or other relevant technical or analytical majors.
  • U.S. citizenship (required for access to defense related systems).
  • Proven problem solving and analytical abilities, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to gather, analyze, and interpret data while handling complex tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Excel & other Microsoft Office Applications
  • Basic familiarity with Agile concepts (e.g., Scrum ceremonies)
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design processes to optimize system performance and business efficiency.
  • Participate in coordinating solution design discussions with business process owners and technical teams.
  • Assist the team with basic configuration and testing activities for a variety of modules within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Support the documentation of functional requirements and help review specifications prepared by senior analysts.
  • Work alongside developers to understand how functional designs are implemented.
  • Participate in data migration and testing activities under guidance.
  • Develop and coordinate documentation, testing procedures, and training materials for end users.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements; the team will evaluate and implement them.
  • Use Jira and Focused Build to log and track tasks and requirements.
